Bully Awareness Week Concludes at Bell Park

The Santa Shop Successful

On Thursday December 17, the Santa Shop was a huge success. Students had the opportunity to visit the Santa Shop to purchase new or slightly used items for a small sum ($0.25-$2.00) for their family.  More then 600 presents were wrapped and $757 was raised in the event.

The Christmas Concerts Are A Success!

On Tuesday December 15, and Wednesday December 16 students and staff put on four concerts.  Thank you to all the community, and family members for attending.  Congratulations to all the students for four amazing shows.  A special THANK YOU to Ms. Rodgerson, our music teacher, for organizing the concerts. 

Bell Park Invited to Halifax Rainmen Game

Students and staff of Bell Park Academic centre have been invited to attend a Halifax Rainmen preseason game  for FREE.  The title sponsor for the event is ROGERS.   The game is on Sunday, December 20: Quebec @ Halifax, at 2pm.   More then 400 tickets were requested by students and staff. Any families who would like to be on a waiting list for tickets should contact Mr. Fry. 

H1N1 News

The Halifax Regional School Board and Department of Health and Education are providing information and resources to support Bell Park.  We will be working on preventative strategies to ensure students and staff are safe. Specifically there is increased cleaning of common areas, education on hand washing, and information for staff and parents. If you have any questions, please contact school administration.
