Parent and Staff Survey- How are we doing?
The Halifax Regional School Board is on a mission to make every school a great school, but we can’t get there without input from our students, their parents/guardians and our teachers! Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts with us by completing our Getting to Great Survey.
 
MATH NIGHT at BELL PARK!
Thank you for attending our first math night.  This was a chance to see the math that your child is working on, and get some suggestions on good math strategies.  Math Fun Night took place from 6:30-7:30pm for grades P-6 on Thursday February 25. 
Home and School General Meeting
There is a General Meeting on Wednesday March 03 in the school library for the Home and School Association.  There will be an update on Finances, Upcoming projects, nominations for a new Vice-President, and a budget passed.  
Pennies For Books
Bell Park is participating in the annual Pennies for Books campaign through Tattletales bookstore.  All the money raised will be used to buy resources for the library.  Please send in your loose change.
Successful Grants At Bell Park

There have been three successful grants submitted by Bell Park this winter.  There is a Perform NS grant for creative creation with Grade 4-5 MacDonald, a ARTSSMART grant for 3 murals with Grade 4 Fry-Gillard, and a Healthy Schools grant for Tae-Kwon-Doe and Pilates instruction.

Successful Dance!

Our Valentine's Dance on Friday February 12th was a success with almost $200 raised for the Grade 6 Acadia trip.  A special thanks to the many students who worked the door, ran the music, and took care of the canteen.
